Overview
IntelliResume ("we", "us") is a product of Vectrel. This policy describes what we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email support@vectrel.ai and we will walk you through it.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the product for you:
- Account info. Your email address and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile fields Google provides, via Supabase Auth.
- Resume and profile content. Anything you type into your Master Profile, resumes, and application records.
- Application history. The jobs you track, notes, chat history with the per-application AI teammate, and the pipeline stage each application is in.
- Billing info. Subscription status from Stripe. We do not store your card number — Stripe does.
- Usage data. Basic server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging.
How we use it
- Provide the core resume builder and application tracker.
- Generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview prep when you invoke an AI feature.
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts).
- Debug issues, protect against abuse, and improve the product.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run behavioral ad tracking.
Who we share with
We rely on a short list of processors to run the product:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage. Hosts your resume content and account data.
- OpenRouter — routes AI requests to underlying model providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI). When you use an AI feature, the relevant prompt and context is sent to OpenRouter and an underlying provider. We configure these requests so providers do not retain your content for training.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
- Google Favicon API — we request company favicons (logos) from this public Google endpoint to show on application cards. Only the public company domain is sent; no personal data.
We also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
Your rights
You can access, export, and delete your data at any time from Settings. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), those rights apply — email support@vectrel.ai and we will honor them.
Retention
We keep your data until you delete your account. Account deletion removes your content from active systems within 30 days and rotates out of backups on the same schedule. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (via Supabase). Database access is enforced row-by-row, so you can only read and write your own data. We follow least-privilege principles for internal access and rotate secrets regularly. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children's privacy
IntelliResume is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
